End User License Agreement
Interim version. WhySet is in private testing. A lawyer has not reviewed this page yet, and one will before public launch. Some features described here are still being built. If we make a change that materially affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect.
This agreement is between you and Bit Developers, LLC, doing business as Bit Ghost Security. It covers your right to use the WhySet website and the software that runs it. WhySet currently has no software for you to download or install; you use it through your web browser. If that changes, the download will state whether this agreement or a separate license applies.
Our Terms of Use also apply, including their age limit, disclaimer, limit on liability and dispute sections. If this agreement and the Terms of Use conflict, the Terms of Use control.
Your license
We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the WhySet website for its intended purpose while you follow the Terms of Use. You can use it for your own purposes or your organization's.
This is a license, not a sale. We and our licensors keep ownership of the site and its software.
What this license doesn't allow
Unless the law allows it despite this restriction, or we agree in writing, you may not:
- copy, change, sell, rent or sublicense the site's software, or offer it to others as a service;
- reverse engineer it or try to extract its source code;
- remove legal or ownership notices;
- get around security features or usage limits.
Published content is separate
This agreement doesn't cover the content published in the WhySet library. Each release states its own license, and the Terms of Use explain what applies until it does. Any open-source software that we use or release stays under its own license, and nothing here limits your rights under it.
Ending this license
This license ends when you stop using WhySet, when your access ends, or if you break this agreement or the Terms of Use. When it ends, you must stop using the site. Sections that are meant to continue still apply.
